Mount St Mary Academy is Hiring a Religion Teacher Near Buffalo, NY
Mount Saint Mary Academy, an all-girls Catholic high school in Buffalo, NY, serving grades 9-12 is seeking a full-time high school religion teacher for the 2024-2025 academic year.
The religion teacher will encourage our students to grow in their faith while engaging them through well-planned, interactive lessons. The successful candidate will have content expertise, a desire to reach students from diverse backgrounds and a love of sharing the Catholic faith.
A Bachelor’s degree is required, but a master’s degree in religious studies, theology, and/or religious education is preferable.
The religion teacher will also have an active role in our Campus Ministry programming with supporting spiritual programs (class retreats and prayer experiences).
Ten month faculty positions receive compensation based on a step salary scale where educational degree and professional teaching experience are the essential metrics. The salary range for the faculty position is $30,000 to $60,000. This salary range is made in good faith and believed to be true at the time of posting.
